Thanks for that, I feel REALLY stupid now.

I have used the Sissi Bay Hotel in the past in the smaller village of Sissi, the beach isn't up to much but the village/harbour square has lots of nice bars and Restaurants, when last at the SBH the food was excellent but not many Brits [mainly Germans ,]

For the last three years we have been to the Iberostar Creta Panorama near Rethymon and can highly recommend it. A bit out of the way but beautiful grounds.
