Has anyone stayed at the canaima aparts recently, the last time we were in Benalmadena (2 yrs) they looked a bit tatty from the outside.
Katy
Has anyone been there? Thinking of going in Sept.
Lots of nice bars and restaurants on your doorstep (especially The Potter). As Canaima is a privately-owned residential block, there is no way of knowing what standard your accommodation might be.
Some owners are sure to look after them fastidiously, while others may skirt round the edges as far as cleanliness goes. Hope you have got one of the good ones!
Also out in September. May see you in The Potter!
Thanks for that, we know Benalmadena well and thought this would be a good place to stay - still negotiating! Do you know any other beach front places, we've stayed at Costamar and Concorde but it's difficult to find anywhere that isn't an arm and a leg. How prices have gone up!!

If front line to the beach is your thing (mine, too) I like the look of the Bulto49 apartments in Carihuela. Not sure how well you know that particular area, but as far as I am concerned it is the pick of the coast!

Thanks for your reply been busy so only just picked it up. Don't know Carihuela. where is that? NNot had any luck with Canaima as no one replys to e-mails, must be really keen to rent out!!
Tony - Just thought I'd let you know we've managed to book at Canaima - just over £400 for 2 weeks and for a beach front seems pretty good compared with most places! We stayed at Roquetas del Mar for the !st and last time in May which was far more and a right dump. We'll be there in Sept so may see you - you'll be wearing the red carnation I presume!!!
