HI, this is my first post and I am despertae for help and advise.
We are looking to take our family away for the first time abroad in October and chosen the canary islands. After weeks of seraching I have narrowed my list down to one hotel from each island apart from teneriefe.
Please could anyone advise me about these hotels and if youhave been and how you found it. I have lokoed at the reviews but cant find a review from OASIS JANDIA GOLF - any ideas?
So we are going to stay at one of the following -
Barcelo lanzarote (AI)
Oasis Jandia Golf (AI) in Fuertaventura
Dunas Suite Hotel (AI) in Gran Canaria
There are two adults and one 3year old and one baby of 10months.
I would really love some help!
michelle
I cant help with any of those accomodations as we always go sc as we really like to eat out everynight.
I think Robert is right as we did go to Turkey AI last summer (like i say dont normally do AI unless caribbean) and really you could be anywhere so if your going AI then choose by the hotel more than the destination i would anyway.
We are going to Lanzarote and Gran Canaria inOct not been to Lanza before but i love Gran Canaria we always have a fab time there in Puerto rico and the kids love it.
Do you not fancy SC then you can go out and see the place and eat out.
ALthough AI is good for the kids makes life nice and easy!!
Good luck
If you want any more info on GC or Puerto Rico give me a shout
Fuert is the quietest with the nicest beaches, but there is a long bus ride from the airport to Jandia which with children is worth taking into consideration.
Lanza was lovely as well we stayed in Costa Tequise which is great as no hills.
I prefer maspalomas to anywhere else as again it is quieter, but you are still near to everything. Again porto rica is all on the hill.
But to be honest I think they are all great, and am sure whichever you choose will be fine, as long as you check out the hotel reviews.
I think for your first attempt at going abroad I would try for Lanzarote. the island is small, easily explorable, there is lots to do, it is very child friendly
(as are all the Canary islands) and it is just that little bit cooler, which may be easier for the children.
Wherever you go, i hope you enjoy and if you do, you will keep returning until you have been to 'em all!!!
