Hi Jenni, cap salou is not too far from salou only about 5 mins on the bus and a 15-20 min walk .Cap salou has nt many shops bars and retaurants but salou is that easy to get to if you want more, the buses pass thru in both directions for where ever you want to go. the ontario is nt on the map that i have but I think that i remember the aparts being built last year or maybe the year before that when we were there,If i remember rightly i think that they are just off the road.By the map the sun club is slightly further back off the road,i have been told its quite nice round there we had friends who stayed in mediterranean village which is beside it.I hope you get sorted :D

We stayed in the Cala Font (a few years ago now) in September, and it was very hot & sunny, with lots of holiday makers, and the resort wasn't quiet. It is a brilliant hotel, and Cap Salou is a lovely resort. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday there. :D

Hi,

Cap Salou is very quiet in comparison to Main Salou and of course after the summer holidays the resort does become quieter but its definately not dead. As you are going at the beginning of Sept I think it will still be pretty full up and the weather should be OK although this area does suffer with storms towards the end of august but these are mainly at night. I got back on October 1st last year and the resort (salou not Cap Salou) was much quieter than the summer months but we still stayed out until gone 4am and there were plenty of people about. None of the bars or shops were closed at this time of year.

Its a long way off but I hope you have a good holiday!

Hi

We have booked to go to the Ontario Apartments in Cap Salou, July 05

Can anyone tell me is Cap Salou suitable for teenagers or would we be better heading to Salou in the evening. We have been to Salou in the past but the kids were much younger then.

Has anyone heard any reports on the apartments

Hi Jenni, the entertainment in cap salou is mostly hotel based, there are a few restaurants and bars but not that many compared to salou. As you will know having been before its not too far to travel in to salou walking, bus or taxi.I am sure you will find plenty to amuse your teenagers.

Took a 17 yr old to Cap Salou this summer.

We were there while Euro 2004 was taking place. Son was quite happy to stay in a pub/restaurant while there was footie on the tv but wanted to go to central Salou other times.

Cap Salou is pretty quiet - mostly eating places.

Son really enjoyed Port Aventura in the evenings - rides seemed different in the dark!

What was the Med Village Like.

Did you stay half board or self catering.

Would you recommend it for children 11 & 8

Hi,
sorry to but in, but I just can't let an opportinity go by and not sing the praises of Med Village in Cap Salou.
We were there in May with 3 kids (13,7 & 4)self catering and absolutely loved it and Cap Salou.
Fantastic facilities/staff/food/accommodation/entertailment the lot! We'd reccomend it to anyone.

Med Village is excellent very clean and staff very helpful My two girls are 4 and 8 and they loved the kids club and mini disco. They have different ages of clubs for kids 4 - 8, 8 - 11 (I think) and then the older ones. Plenty of activities on all day around the pool and away from it, table Tennis Darts Pool etc. Bit of a carry on to get sunbeds as you need to be down at the pools for 8.45 as they unlock them at 9.00 Just leave your towels on them and head for breakfast. Dont worry you'll have a ball in a very good hotel. Im trying to get it booked again for next year for our third visit

Cap Salou is a pleasant 20 minute walk to Salou, there are a few decent pubs in Cap Salou to get a bite to eat.You can catch the bus from Cap Salou directly to the theme park it only takes around 15 minutes. We found Cap Salou to be a lovely quiet area.We walked into Salou every other night for a change of scenery.

Hubby just found out his footy team is playing on sky whilst we are there in August. Is there any where good in Cap Salou to watch the footy or will it be better to go into Salou.
