We have driven to Callella de Palafrugell about 12 times and always stayed at la Siesta,fabulous campsite.Lots of places to visit within approx 30 minutes,here goes:Estartit,Pals,Playa de Aro,San Agro,San Felui,Begur,Tamariu,these are all great places to visit,one advice is dont drive to Barcelona,traffic horrendious,do a coach trip from campsite,Im going to look back for a website in my favourites thats very good on Costa Brava that will give you lots to look at,will get back to you.

The beaches of CDP, Llafranc, and Tamariu were already on my walking itinerary, but i'm beginning to think that if we are feeling ambitious, that Palamos might just be do-able!!
