Hi gilliwoo! Not sure where you got those dates from, but Carnaval in PdC will be the Saturday after Shrove Tuesday i.e. Saturday 28th Feb.

I've just heard that the carnival in PDC on the 28th starts at the Matagorda end at 5pm.

How long does the carnival take to go from there to the fariones then? Just would be interested in knowing as to what time to get down there.

I expect all the bars on the front will be busy!! And if anyone has been before, after the procession has gone through does all the bars remain busy or do people tend to ebb away?

We got a seat in one of Lanis halfway through the parade. Not sure how it will be with all the road work going on.
