Hi,
I'm off to Perth soon and wondered whether I could use my Nationwide Flex card to get cash out in Australia when I need it. I have done this when holidaying in Europe, but haven't visited Australia before. Are cash dispensers as common as they are in England, and do they make a charge to use them?
Thanks
Hi
If your card has Maestro,Cirrus or Eftpos you should be ok as for charges most have a charge of some kind and there is Atms at most banks and service stations and hotels and shopping centres

Spent 5 weeks in Australia as part of a round the world trip and we used the Nationwide Flex Account card with no problems at all. Saved us an absolute bundle in charges compared to what we would have been charged by our main bank Lloyds TSB.
As long as you stick to ATM's at banks you will be fine with no charge at all. It's when you use a "convenience" ATM and they will charge you $1.50 or similar just for that convenience.
ATM's are everywhere.
