I refuse to go to the floating casino, its just a tourist rip off. Get your taxi driver to take you to Chances at Panjim. Just a little further. No entry fee and a great atmosphere.
Open until 4 in the morning and very friendly croupiers.

Went on the Caravel last week entrance fee Rs1300 each, they dont do the all inclusive option anymore. The stakes on the roulette have increased minimum bet now is 100 rupees and 500 rupees around the outside of the table, i.e. red black odd or even, still had a great night but what used to be a bit if fun can now set you back a few £ none of us are big gamblers so if your not careful ( after a few drinks) it can prove quite costly.

Chances is in the Dona Paoula area of Panjim.
Minimum stake is 50 rupees. There is a restaurant but I beleive it closes around 11.
Only downside is that the machines are electronic manually operated........or at least thats how my other half describes it.
Basically, you do actually have to physically place your chips on the roulette board, however the wheel is covered over and triggered by a button operated by the croupier.
We still prefer this to the casino at the Marriott hotel in Panjim, as beautiful as it was, it was fully electonic throughout the whole casino.
Will be there myself in 3 weeks time!!!!!!!!!!!

try this link for other casinos in Goahttp://www.rrindia.com/goa/casinos-in-goa.html
As a keen poker and B/J player myself, I think all the others apart from the Carevela are all electronic or mechanical.........

Good luck....
