We've booked a week in Cavtat at the end of September, booked independantly, so we hope it will all work out. As it is so near to the airport, we won't bother hiring a car for the week but will probably get one for a few days to explore further afield. Has anyone had any experience of driving in Croatia? As Cavtat is in the bottom corner of Croatia, is it possible (or desirable) to drive into the neighbouring countries?
Any advice on Cavtat and Dubrovnik, where to eat, what to see, prices etc, would be welcome.
Thanks in advance
Cavtat we found to be quite small, it's very pretty but I imagined it, (going on the photo's I saw) that it would be larger than it was.
There's more information in our resort reports HERE
If you haven't been before I'm sure you will love Croatia. It's very clean, no time share or restaurant touts and is very picturesque.
