chaika or meridian?

hi!
has anyone stayed at either of these?i can't make up my mind. there is about £100 between the two. i also wondered if there was alot of difference between the meridian and the maritsa rooms. the site i am looking at has 2 types of room for the meridian. standard and superior. i am guessing the standard are in the maritsa part. do you know if this is correct.

You may also wish to check out the final post (dated last July) in this thread, which comments on the rooms at the Meridian.

I`ve stayed at the Chaika the last 2 years and this year I`m staying at the Meridian. I liked the chaika, had no problems there and its very convienent for everything. The only reason I`m going to the meridian this year is because we just fancied a change.

thanks to all of you for your replies. i think i will book the meridian as its about £100 cheaper than the other one. i will save my money for eating out.
