It's swings and roundabouts really.
If the price had gone up you wouldn't offer to pay the extra so I think it works both ways.

I agree with stacey.
Nothing you can do I'm afraid. If you book in advance you have to pay the advance price. Can't say I blame them as, like Stacey says, none of us would offer to pay more if it went up!
BTW - just a thought, how much cheaper is it? Is it worth the hassle of cancelling and re-booking?
It is annoying but that's why I don't check again once I've booked up

I agree with everyone else, unfortunately.
When you paid your deposit, thats when you entered into contract with them, and agreed the price you would pay.
I'm with puddleduck, I never go back and check, especially air fares, it gets so frustrating!

Yep, I agree too. Presumably when you booked it you thought something along the lines of "that's a decent price I'll book it". Unfortunately it came down later.
As everyone has said, if you found it had gone up you wouldn't rush to the phone to offer the extra £££££s.
Be satisfied you have got a holiday at a price you think is worth it.

Haven't we had this before?? I seem to remember a couple of topics on the same vane not that long ago.
Why, when people agree a price for a holiday, do they moan when the price comes down days, weeks or months later.
I've said it before and I'll say it again--If the price had gone up, would you be willing to pay the increase.
If you wouldn't be prepared to pay any increase, then dont expect the travel agent/tour operator to swallow the loss just so you get the holiday cheaper.
