Can't say I've ever heard of this Jinty, but from experience of searching on the web, I have noticed that prices on-line are often at their lowest on a Friday afternoon and the weekend.
Don't know if this applies to T/A and T/O operating out of the high street as it were. If you have the time why not go round some of the local travel agents on different days and see if prices vary. We tend to book all our holidays at the weekend anyway, and have usually got very good prices.

Hi i haven't heard this before.
Prices go up and down all the time.

I was told a couple of years ago never to book at the weekend as that's when the TA's do most business - but not sure if that's the case now with the rise in on-line bookings.
