That's not a problem, just inform the rep at Dabolim that you are not using the accomodation.
I think you will find a lot of us have ilovegoa, not sure if it is actually permitted although you do see flight only/with one night accommodation included. It happens all the time (for example people who book dorm house flights/accommodation very rarely stay in it) - we have done so 3 times now and not had a problem. Just make sure that you let your rep know (if you make your own way to and from airport) and remember that should there be a delay on your return flight you will need to keep up to date with information so keep a close eye on information boards relating to your flight at any hotels you may visit (or other people on the same flight if you know someone). Or you should have a contact number in your ticket book. You should/may be asked to sign a "C" form by the apartment owners (for legal reasons) but then again, you might not be asked at all Fizz
We've booked a charter flight only this year with no accommodation. We've booked our accommodation separately and have an e-mail confirmation to prove that we have somewhere to stay.
To anyone that reads this, this will be OK won't it ? Never thought it would be a problem
As they often say in Goa, NO PROBLEM!!!
We always stay in different accomodation and have never had a problem. It never even crossed my mind that there would be?

Yes i did this March this year, as long as you let the rep know and get her/his contact number to check on your flight home etc.
Thank you all for your replies, it puts my mind at rest a little. We have found a really good flight price for Nov but in not such a good hotel! Think we will just go for it:-)
If you have not been issued with a voucher when your tickets arrive, get in touch with the company who you have bought the tickets from, and ask them to supply one.
If you are flying with Monarch they will not allow anyone to board the plane who do not have a voucher, any other form of proof of accomodation is rejected. This has always been the case at Manchester, others have stated that they have never been asked to produce these at other airports (things may change though..)
This has to be another very silly way to run things in my opinion, you can move anywhere you want within India at any time, so if a crisis comes up, how would the authorities ever get hold of you ?
Also you do have to state your place of residence on the visa app form and also on the embarkation form you fill in on the plane - so doesn't make sense to me why you have to produce these vouchers.
When you do apply for your visa and fill the in-flight form in, put down your hotel/appartment and not the dorm house.
Hope this makes some sense,
Spike.
Some carriers don't bother though - but check to make sure.
Thank you for your advice.
I rang the agent (Co-op Travel) who I'd booked the tickets through today who said I won't be sent a voucher (She'd never heard of it) but if I am asked for some proof of where I'm staying my e-mail confirmation which shows dates should be fine.
I hope so !!!! We're flying with Thomas Cook.
If i were you i'd ,contact the airline you are booked with and ask them whether you need an accomodation voucher..Sometimes the advice you are given by the travel agent is incorrect.
I've just rang the Thomas Cook ticket desk at Manchester airport. Informed me that there will be no need for an accommodation voucher and we shouldn't be asked to prove we have accommodation. He said "Carry your e-mail confirmation with you but you won't be asked to show it.
Feel better for checking it though - thanks to all for their advice.
I will stand by jcbrum's post that the travel agents do get it wrong. There was a few on here last year posting about visas, and when they had contacted the agents, found they were given duff info untill they checked on this site.
At least you have spoken to the airline, if they say you will be fine, then your sorted.
Spike.
we booked flight only and have not got accom voucher,we booked accomadation with different agent so will be ok,but the flight provider doesnt know this,
