Hello all,
We still have some of the old pre 2005? Turkish Lira notes (worth about £60) but UK banks wouldn't change them for us last year. We're going to Turkey again soon and wondered if anyone knows if the Turkish Banks will still change them? Thanks.
Thanks for the link Lynn
No, unfortunately you can't change the old notes now.
When the new lira came out people had just one year with which to change any old banknotes.

You can still change old notes at the central turkish bank until 31st December 2015
in Marmaris the Ziraat bank will take them...... it's on the way to the marina from the ataturk statue..left hand side. They also give good money exchange rate!
