Hi
Has anybody booked a holiday with this travel agent?
http://www.chapatravel.co.uk/
They've ofered me a holiday considerably less than any other agent can offer me
Same flights, hotel etc
Just worried in case it's a "you pay for you get" scenario
Any info good or bad appreciated
Thanks
John
I would immediately be suspicious of them because of this, although I notice they are members of something called the TTA ( Travel Trust Association) the TTA website lists them as members and also give more information on the TTA.

Maybe somebody has further information and can give you more information and a thumbs up for them.

Thanks for your reply
That's what alarmed me, no mention of ABTA or ATOL only the TTA which like yourself I've never heard of
Taken from their website
"The TTA is a trade association of Travel Agents, Tour Operators, and Travel Organisers"

Interesting

I have been taking a look for info on TTA and they appear to be an organisation for smaller independent tour operators.
The government travel site mentions them along side ABTA, so it would seem that at least the financial side would be secure.
Hopefully somebody can give you information on their accommodation etc.

Just found this from last year while searching for info on CHAPA TRAVEL ltd.
We've been looking to go to Gumbet in July and saw a 4* hotel on AI basis in Gumbet. The price with Chapa is quite a bit cheaper with Chapa than anyone else..... BUT like the previous posts, I've never heard of them although their Web site looks ok and plenty deals given, I also rang them today and they offered the same hol (direct flights, I/F meals, tranfers and AI for 2 wks).
Has anyone got more info since the last time this was raised? I know they are still not ABTA but are TTA.
Thanks

Excellent value, i will use again.
Please note if you are going to Alanya, Turkey even though the area is beautiful, it mainly Germans that go there.
We came back about a week ago from alanya, hotel was called incekum beach resort, other than the distance to the town center everything was ok, so was the man from chapa travel. he told me the hotel was 28 km out of town but under the sun everything seems to take longer. Take your own beach towels and dont stick to hotel beaches. we took a boat trip and it was goooood regards
