On most flights to asia the check in time is 3 hours before and the bagage allowance is 20kg

Thanks for the replies - I managed to find a number for Thai Airways at Heathrow and a recorded message informed me that check in closes 3 hrs before departure even though their web site as previous post says two hours before departure!
Am a bit paranoid about missing flights so will go with the 3 hrs.
