I've just used a batch of my Tesco clubcard rewards for a booking at the Hilton/doubletree spa at chester for a couple of nights over christmas . It looks nice .. 3 miles from chester but they seem to have a park & ride close by or £5 in a taxi . Never been to chester before and other than it being somewhere I've thought looked good that has roman walls I know very little . Any hints and tips for places to visit, nice walks or restaurant recommendations would be brilliant folks.

Those 2 will definately be on the list numberplease . We always enjoy walking the wall at York so I'm hoping it's of a similar length and we can hop off in places.
