I am looking to book for Cambrils in Aug possibly the Maritim Princess. Are the pubs in Salou and Cambrils all child friendly??
Cheers
I don't think you will have any problem at all finding somewhere suitable for all tastes/ages.
we went to cambrils a few years back and went to freds bar and the fawlty towers and kids were allowed in. i think most pubs are o.k. with it
We have stayed in Salou several times, and our favourite bar is the Xamos in one corner of the Placa Corona del Aragon, very near the Delfin Parc Hotel. It's run by an Eric Morecambe look alike called Antonio and he and his waiter Ramon are two of the nicest and funniest guys you could meet. He has live music on every night and the bar tends to attract a lot of different nationalities. It's not a big place, but great on atmosphere.
hi sungazer any idea if ramon used to work at the med village??????
Beermat, I have no idea where Ramon worked before the Xamos. We first went to Salou in 1997 and he was working there then but he was very shy and hesitant, so we got the impression that he was pretty new there. Every time that we have been there since we have seen a change in him, becoming more outgoing and confident under Antonio's influence. He probably did have waiter experience before this but not in such a small intimate setting as the Xamos so maybe he is the Ramon you knew, but I think it's a fairly common name in Spain.
