Hi all i am thinking of going to Goa in January, could anyone reccomend a nice hotel with a shallow pool, in the calangute area, i will be taking my 2 sons age 8 and 6. I was reccomended the Goan Heritage but my friend has just come back from there and she said that the pool was lovely but had no shallow end, as my youngest cannot swim too well i would really prefer the hotel to have a childrens pool or a shallow end.
Thanks for your help as this will be our first time.
Sorry ment to say this is for my daughter and grandchildren,as this will be their first time
Hi Eastender, we stayed at the Taj holliday village but its in the next resort of Candolim (just down the road). Im a single mum and travelled with my 10 year old. They had a pool only a foot deep and a bigger pool with the shallow end 4ft. They also had lifeguards and do swimming lessons. The place was fabulous for kids with their own activity centre where there is plenty to do aswell as hiring push bikes they can ride around the grounds. They have a special eating place for them called Junglejams. All staff go out of their way to make sure they have a great time they even take them off for an hour to do activity trails which included climbing trees and a zip wire across them all done with safety equipment. All in all my daughter thought it was heaven on earth and cant wait until i book for next year. Hope this helps. Anna
