Christmas in Barcelona ?

I am thinking of going to Barcelona for a week at Christmas, does anybody know what it will be like, what sort of weather can I expect. Christmas is on a Sunday so will the shops, etc, be open on the Monday (our Boxing day ) will the magic fountains still be open. any info welcome.
