Christmas in Goa.
What happens in Goa over the Christmas period? I'm not a Christian so I haven't celebrated Christmas since the kids grew up and left home.
Are the shacks and bars open? Or will I have to stay in the hotel eating curried turkey with sprouts and roast potatoes.
Just wondering

Hi lezlie, everything is open we had a great time, we had tuna salad for lunch christmas day at big banana beach shack, its totaly different over there christmas eve is the big thing fireworks on the beach at midnight, have a good time lezlie, paul
Its brilliant at Christmas time, a lot of the Goans are christians so they celebrate as well, last year on Christmas day we were lying on the beach beds suffering from very bad headachs, but we recovered in time to celebrate the new year.
This year I'm free of all commitments and I'm off, Goa here I come, I must go out tonight and practice my drinking skills.
I'm the type of person who does things on impulse, should get my passport back this week, you never know I may be in Goa next week.

Christmas day, although celebrated is a fairly low key day, but new years eve is fantastic on the beach, 1 big party from end to end, and the biggest firework display from Sinquiem to Baga beach, I can't put it into words what a fabulous atmosphere it is, but one I don't want to miss,
