Are you wanting a traditional turkey dinner on Xmas day? Or something Spanish?
As regards New Year's Eve - absolutely anywhere will be great! Puerto del Carmen is very bouncy! I would recommend Jaspar's Bar on the main avenida though - as they have a balcony with great views ready for the fireworks display. Say hi to the owner, Sue, from me.

Hi Elle, Thanks for your suggestion regarding Jasper's, new year's eve, we'l check it out ok. Yea, we were hoping to go 'traditional' for Christmas lunch, so would appreciate any restaurants you could recommend. thanks
Irish couple? If you are staying in a complex, very often the onsite restaurant will have a xmas dinner programme with entertainment etc included. I worked in one last xmas day, and everyone had great fun
Irish Couple - I've heard that Keane's Bar (just behind Burger King at the Fariones end of PdC) does a great Xmas dinner. A friend of ours swears by it! Says the craic is mighty there. Haven't tried it myself... but Mick's suggestions are usually good one. He travels alone - and always manages to find the hotspots.
Great suggestion of madsue's about your own complex too - means you don't have as far to zigzag back to your room eh?

It's on the left hand side on the road going down to the harbour, there is usually a queue outside it.
