Hi there,
We are thinking of going to Tenerife for christmas this year and are wondering if we would be better of in a hotel or hiring a villa?(although im not sure where to start about hiring one.)
There will be myself,husband,7 yr old daughter and mother and father in law who are OAPS.If we were to hire a villa or apartment even, then we would like one that is fairly central and not out in the sticks.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
Many thanks
Angela.
INVALID URL and skylinetravel.co.uk. Both are excellent.
Costa Adeje is a nice area, provided you keep to the coast as it does get hilly behind. There are nice beaches (Fanabe and Torviscas) nearby and lots of pubs, restaurants etc.
Apartment rentals are dearer at Christmas, as are flights, but you should find it cheaper than a package holiday.
Hope you find something suitable

You will need to book ASAP though, Christmas & new year rentals get booked up very early.

I have used admiral travel who are based in tenerife. The staff are all english speaking and they are very helpful, if you go on their website you can get a freephone number for them or e-mail your accom needs to them. the lady who has helped us before was called Ann and she was great.

I have a brand new villa with private heated swimming pool available, check out my website and PM me if you require further information
If you have not yet booked your flights you are looking at a really expensive holiday.
If you are not going Fri-Fri forget booking a private apartment as they all stipulate Friday as the changeover day
We accept bookings on anyday of the week and always have done, otherwise we get in a situation where we need numerous cleaning staff on a Friday!!
Also, by allowing guests to arive on 'alternative' days will keep the costs down, as it is generally cheaper to take flights on other days than Fridays and Tuesdays with companies such as british airways
If you are not going Fri-Fri forget booking a private apartment as they all stipulate Friday as the changeover day and by now they will all be booked up for Christmas/New Year anyway.
Likewise, that is not true. We say that normally weeks run from Friday to Friday, but we have just taken a booking from Sunday to Sunday and Tuesday to Tueasday seems to be coming a favourite.
And not everyone is booked up for Christmas & New Year yet. (Although I agree you should get your skates on).
By booking independently through say Alpharooms you can arrive any day and for any duration.
