We are coming out to Malta next week, and staying at SAS Radisson Baypoint.
Can anybody tell me average price in bars for a pint of the local brew, and also prices in shops for Marlboro Lights.
First time to Malta for us, we can't wait!
Fags & Beer about the same as the UK. Beaches the same - crap. Roads worse.

beer -about Lm Lm1 per pint, again half UK price

As far as beer is concerned Gozomark is correct but the price will vary according to where you purchase. I reckon it will probably cost you more like Lm2 in the 5 Star SAS Raddison since a couple of years ago when we nipped in to visit this hotel I remember paying roughly twice the normal price for a beer there then! Just out of interest maybe you will post and let me know how much a pint of hopleaf is in the SAS Raddison when you return?

Price for pint of Cisk at hotel was Lm1.95, which is double what it was in town. I'll be posting a proper review in the next week or so. Just got back, I'm still jetlagged!
