I noticed someone said during a post that you can bring back lighters as long as they are not in your hand luggage, that is not correct if you put lighters in your hold baggage it is possible you could be prosecuted as lighters are classed as hazardous cargo,my brother came back from Benidorm a couple of months ago,as they were about to go to the departure lounge there was a call for them to return to security, didnt have a clue what they had done, security took them to the baggage loading area and showed them a case and asked if it was there's it was and were told to open it well the guards gestured they openned the case but did not know what they wanted they had loads of cigs but it wasn't them the guard saw a pack of lighters in the case and took them that was it but they could have been fined they were told later, just a word of warning.
