You can only buy upmarket brands in large cities ie Bombay, Delhi.
You could get clinique in the chemist on calangute high street opposite the old petrol station, they had a good deal on as well, buy one get another clinque item free, it cost around 250rps if i remember correctly.

I cant believe it was really clinique as its only slightly cheaper in india than in england. Remember there is nothing they cannot copy.
Thats true I guess Hapi. However, I wouldnt want a copy or fake only the original product and as you say it does seem very very cheap.

Clinique do not make a cream called synergie (just checked their website), however Garnier do and this is widely available all over india, at lower prices than uk.
Garnier products are manufactured by L'oreal India according to the pot of Wrinkle Lift anti ageing cream that I have in front of me and I would assume from that it is the real thing, m.r.p. Rs179 I think I paid about 185 at Lawanda supermarket. I usually bring back a couple of pots every time we go.

Yes the garnier products are all made in india, it was only the clinique i was saying is not genuine unless you buy from a proper shop (read upmarket) in bombay, delhi, or pune. The mrp is the price you pay, no extra.
Just bought two tubs of the Garnier anti wrinkle cream (red pot) about £17 over here 189rps from the elephant shop Candolim,same in all the chemists. Small note, some shops were taking the wrappers off the sun cream (price stamped on plastic) and trying to charge more,so beware.
