Dont buy the first thing you see in a shop, As around the next corner you will see exactly the smae thing at half the price.

Quite sure if you let the hotel know about the wee ones birthday they will do something for her ,seen many a kids eyes light up at different hotels when they see the cake with sparklers being brought to the table

Would recommend the Cin Bal in Kaya Köyü for your daughters birthday meal out. We went last year with my then 14 year old son and he still talks about the night now. You can pick your own food and grill it yourself on a small barbeque next to your table in a lovely garden. Was a fantastic night out.

We also always enjoy hanging out at The Turkish Pizza too. Place is just a treasure with lovely atmosphere and real nice food (very reasonable too). It is our favourite place in all of Olu Deniz for chilled out family time. We just love lounging on these cushions;

Would really recommend the Dalyan river trip with mud baths, trout farm, Kaya Koyu and islands boat trip from Olu. Fethiye market is also a must. In Fethiye you really realise you are in a different land. We also went on jeep safari but i am not sure i would have wanted to take a 9 year old on that as it was very boisterous. May have been down to the tour guides we went with though as they seemed quite unruly. I noticed some of the other jeep convoys we passed seemed calmer.

Dont pack the kitchen sink, you wont need it. Practically everything you could ever want is available from resort. Women's things are expensive out there though and i would take those if you might need them (edited: oops, sorry Jim....you wont need them!).

Have a fantastic time. Olu Deniz really is heaven.

Whats the best way of getting to the Cin Bal restaurant in Kaya Köyü at night. Do taxis wait around to take you back home or do the dolmus's run that late?

The Sugar Beach club has a childrens play area, its located on a beach around the back of the lagoon. There is a restaurant there and plenty of room to run around for kids. It might be nice for a birthday party.

I am unsure what time the Dolmus runs up until. We simply got the Cin Bal staff to call us a taxi when we were done.
