Ahem.............we have lots of reviews for this accommodation also :-
We went there last year and had a great time. Bar was open from morning until - I think the latest we were up was midnight. We did have 2 children with us. The food was great, something for everyone, lots of salad and rice/pasta dishes and always 2-3 meats/fish. The kids ate better on this holiday than ever before, if they didn't like something they just got something else and it wasn't chips every night. The resort itself is quite quiet, find for younger children but it you have a teenager it might get a bit boring for them, we were with family who had a 12 year old with them and there wasn't a lot for her to do at night, but our kids loved it. I will say the entertainment in the hotel was pretty poor, in a very smokey dark hall, we usually ended up sitting round the pool in the evening. I hope this gives you a better insight.
The pool area is massive and there are plenty of sunbeds for eveyone. The poolside entertainment was mostly done by the italians for the italians, but they didnt mind you joining in, there is water arobics, yoga and dancing every afternoon. We enjoyed this but others complained it was too loud.
Food - we didnt enjoy the food very much but there was always a wide variety and plenty of cakes and biscuits!!
Bar - coctails were fantastic, although there was always a que at the bar.
You must try the wee karaoke bar at the corner, the staff are really friendly, food was great too.
Plenty of wee bars, cafes and shops to browse.
We are planning a return trip to this hotel soon, although self catering this time!!
To anyone that is going on hols this saturday or soon have a lovely time.
Thanks

P.s will post a review when i get back x
We've been to callas de mallorca 3 times. I really like the resort as, although it is only small, there is enough variety of bars, restaurants, shops etc, to suit almost everyone.
The beach at cala domingos also has plenty of facilities, ie sunbeds, water sports, bars, restaurant and shop. Be aware that the shoreline is quite rocky, so best take some jelly shoes
Have a lovely holiday
Carol

is the club cala romani suitable for a group of 17 adults and 3 children?
Is it close to any late bars and beaches?
Just read some pretty brutal reviews on the above hotel, which we are going to in August .
If anyone can provide Threebabes with some recent feedback, we would also appreciate if our reviews page for the complex could be updated at the same time ...
We stayed here 9 years ago when it was the Club Aguamar - anybody been recently and can provide an upto date review as we're considering going back.
Hi, a friend of mine stayed there last year and she didn't have any complaints.
We enjoyed it. After reading all the reviews I think that people were just nit picking about anything and everything.
Our room was fine, it was basic but clean. We had no air conditioning but managed fine with the door open. The food was fine, I found it did get repetitive after 2 weeks but it was probably my own fault not trying other stuff. Everything I did try was nice. Sometimes you had to queue for your meal but we tended to go at opening time and any queues did go down quickly. Food was always replenished quickly. Any queues at the bar for soft drinks, ice cream etc went down quickly.
The pool area was nice, I think the pool could do with a bit of maintenance though with missing tiles etc. Either DH or I were up about 7am putting towels on sunbeds but only so we could be in the row in front of the pool to watch the kids, my youngest is only 4. Always spare sunbeds about.
Kids enjoyed kids club, several languages were used but I didnt find it annoying. Also the kids had to write letters to dance on the stage which wasn't a problem.
Shop is expensive but I found the town expensive as well. I wouldnt go back only because town was a bit small, we didnt think much of the evening entertainment at the hotel but a lot of others enjoyed it, and wouldve like to go for a walk along coast, but they wasnt a coast as such.
We went to the beach one day which does get crowded, but we enjoyed it and kids went scuba diving to watch the fish, water is very clear.
we are going to club cala romani in two weeks and I wondered if anyone can help me with the room views. I read somewhere that a resort view is noisy and I should request a pool view, which I have done but now I have seen that all the bigger rooms are the resort view. Can anybody shed some light on this?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
