It is now called the Munamar beach hotel. It is on the road up from the beach behind the old Efes inn.
Although it belongs to the Munamar group you cant use the main Munamar (the big white hotel on the beach front) or the Munamar residence (previously the Efes inn.
There have been loads of complaints about the beach hotel as people have booked it thinking they have booked one of the other 2 which are only available with Thomson/First Choice and adult only.
Read the reviews on Trip advisor before you book as they are not good.
There is a long thread about these 3 hotels and the confusion the new name has caused.
Its worth reading before you decide to book.

Hi Jay,
Yeah, I have read them today. I think overall there has been a lot of confusion and yes you would be upset had you thought you were going to Munumar and ended up at the Munamar Beach Resort (formerly Oylum)...!!! I think it is more to do with the branding too. I found the reviews to be slightly mixed. This is the beach resort http://www.munamarbeachresort.com/ ,which I'm still considering booking.

I'll keep up the search!

It looks lovely on the website and as long as its a reasonable price you can always eat out occasionally.
The Olyum Prestige used to be popular with East European guests.
I can understand people being disappointed if they though they were booking the main Munamar and maybe that reflects in their reviews.
We met people last year who stayed at the Blue rainbow and said it was quite nice but to be honest I think AI is a bit of a risk unless it one of the big hotels on the sea front.
I am hoping to book some new apartments in the old village at the end of the month when we renew our travel insurance.
Good luck with your search. :tup

Yeah, I agree. But as it's for an adult and a child the bigger ones were v pricey. So far the price is comparable to what I would normally spend and has more than the apart where we normally stay. I spotted that re Eastern European guests. But I think we are just going to give it a try as this place has always caught my eye especiall last year as it just looked so chilled n lovely music around pool!! (hope they not changed that)!!! ;-)
I will keep you all posted and be sure to do a review when we get back.

Maybe it is just me, but I personally would not stay in any of the big hotels on sea front in Icmeler. With a child I don't think it is worth it as they just don't have the facilities. I think Marmaris is better equiped re children, but not a place I wish to stay. The above hotel seams like the best option... Eeek!
