Can anyone help, I have a pair of white scholl sandals that I usualy wear on an evening in Goa. However, the strap on one of them has broken & cannot be mended (plastic see through strap). Is there anyone in Goa that could take straps off & replace them, doesn't have to be plastic again? I know you can buy sandals cheap in Goa (bought loads) but these scholls have a little bit of an heel & very comfortable.

there are hundreds of street cobblers that charge pennies, they usually are sat on the streets, with loads of old shoes around them, Calangute last year, my hubby had his sandles repaired, ( he's to tight to buy a new pair) and they do an excellent job.
Arte there any places that make good quality leather shoes? I know there are plenty of places that make leather bags, coats etc, but I have never found a good quality place for shoes.
