I don't know whether anyone else has had contact lenses delivered to them back home from Goa before but there seems to be a problem this year. Because the opticians didn't stock monthly disposable contact lenses I had to order them and they hadn't arrived by the time I was going home on Jan 2nd so I paid for them and was told they would be delivered within a week to me in England. I was okay with this as they had delivered ok before. When a month had gone by and I hadn't received them I wrote to them with a copy of my receipted order to gee them up. When I still hadn't heard from them by last Saturday I telephoned and was told that they had posted them 3 days after I left but when they received my letter they made enquiries and found out that the authorities would not post them because they contained liquid. He has now ordered me some more and made arrangements to pass them on to one of his English customers who will post them to me when she gets back to England. If it is someone who reads this site - thanks very much. Must make sure I get my order in as soon as I arrive next year.
