If you are going for a day at the beach or to do some watersports then yes it is worth a trip to (from Paphos I take it?). However, there is nothing else there really apart from one historical site near Corallia Beach by the Thalassa boutique hotel there.

There are restaurants/shops etc but they are all geared towards the beach tourists.

It really depends on what you are looking at doing there - nice beach yes, sites to see no, restaurants - you can find much nicer ones in the villages out and about.

If you have a car then carry on from Coral Bay and drive up to Lara Bay and the Akamas peninsula (4 x 4 advised for parts of it though).
