I have close links with Thomson & First Choice who are the majot T.O's in these apartments and they tell me the apartments are due to be open from the 1st of July!! Fingers crossed Cordial can keep to this date they must have lost lots of money with the delay in opening these apartments.
i would just wing it if you are booked at the apartments, because thay have been putting people in the hotel which is out of this world, and also would normally add at least a couple of thousand more to the holiday. mo.
Will be more than happy if they put us in hotel, just wondered if it will apply to us as we have booked accomadation only, very cheaply!
hi boots,if the apartments arnt ready,i would insist on the hotel, dont be fobbed off.you will have a brilliant time. mo.
The apartments look very close to being ready so I would say they will deffo be open come August.

Just booked a week at these apts for £299 each, bit worried as to why they are so cheap and don't want to arrive on a building site.
Visited Puerto Mogan twice last week. We thought they looked quite impressive from the outside and there was no building work going on that we could see from the front when we were visiting the supermarket opposite the hotel.
Thanks Robo thats made us feel better, 3 weeks to go
there is no building work going on,there is water in the pool, furniture on the balconies etc,and the locals are saying due to open half the block on june 5th.
Any update?? Looking to book a holiday here in the next few days and have been following the thread with interest.
Bit worried though that we won't get a decent room so has anyone any advice on this hotel or what we should ask for.
Also a bit cheeky we forgot to book in flight meals so should I be cheely and ask for these free as well.
Thanks
this happened to us.the apartments were supposed to be half opened 5th june, but who knows.
what i do know is that you wont be dissapointed and you have a real bargin,as the hotel is around £650 each per week.
i doubt very much you would get a rubbish room just because you got upgraded.there isnt any rubbish rooms.the whole grounds are surrounded by lush tropical gardens and it is really beautifull.
i requested a pool view, and got one in an ideal location
you can have the choice to change your evening meal to lunch and eat out on a evening if you want a change, seeing as hadnt paid for half board we didnt mind this.
you will arrive in the unbelievable reception,be greated by the friendly staff and be offered champagne, and think wow-honestly you will think you have dropped on your feet.enjoy!
the surrounding area is very quiet.but the beach and harbour,a 15min stroll away are very pretty.
Thanks for the info, I feel a little guilty now as we only paid £299 each online with thomson. I note the price for the hotel in Apr next year is £1111 each
