I would be grateful if anyone could give any estimates of what cost a transfer from Ca'n Pastilla to Paguera would be?
At present I have looked into getting a taxi back to the airport then a shuttle out to Paguera which I've been told will cost approx 30 euro in total. Does anyone know whether it would be just as cheap to get the taxi straight to Paguera? Or is there a good express bus?
We have stayed in Majorca several times Cala Millor/Sa Coma, Alcudia and Palma Nova. On this visit we have decided to visit resorts not normally advertised in British brochures (we like a mix of nationalities when on holiday). We plan on visiting Ca'n Pastilla, Paguera and Portals Nous. We don't want to hire a car as we quite like travelling on public transport as it makes our holiday more interesting to meet local people.

vonmac, Buses from Can Pastilla only go to Palma city centre, no bus to airport. A taxi from Can Pastilla to Paguera would be 50euro (just a calculated guess!) We went to Can pastilla last year staying at the Leo, lots of nationalities not too many Brits!!!! and had a lovely time, and just a stones throw from the airport.CBG

We nearly booked the Leo hotel but in the end went for Brasilia Hotel because of its seafront location, hope it is o.k.
The prices for the transfer from Airport to paguera have been given as 16 euro and I've been told that the taxi from Can Pastilla to airport is approx 12 euro. If it's going to cost more than 50 euro for a taxi from Can Pastilla to Paguera I think we will do the above. I'll just wait till we get there before I decide what to do.

vonmac, I think a taxi from airport to Paguera would be at least 35 euro as I paid that to Santa Ponsa and Paguera is a little further away. We visited Paguera last time we were in Santa Ponsa, beach was nice, classy shops and very upmarket but just toooo German for my liking. CBG
We were quoted 45 euros for a taxi from a local taxi driver.
In the end we decided to use public transport. We got the number 25 from Can Pastilla to Palma, then the 104 to Paguera Thought Paguera was lovely). Total cost 7.50 euros. We thought it was a good saving and for us no hassle, so when we moved from Paguera to Portals Nous we got the bus again - total cost 2.70 euro. We finally decided to get the bus back to the airport - total cost 6.40 euro. We ended up saving a lot on taxi fares. The buses were very good.
