Me and my partner are both in our early 20's and are very intrigued by the Costa Allegra going to the Far East in 2009.
The thing is, I was wondering if anybody has done either the tour or been on the Allegra, who could give me some feedback.
Also, Me and bf are a little worried about the drinks cost, as last year we travelled with Island Star and the bill at the end was almost as much as one week onboard!!
Therefore a drinks package could be of benefit.

We have done 4 Costa cruises but unfortunately not the Allegra. We too like the idea of cruising around the Far East. There are a few reviews of this cruise ship and itinerary on a couple of other websites but I cannot post the links on here. One of the sites is a British cruise booking agent. Myabe if you type "Costa Allegra Reviews" in Google you will come across them.
As for drinks on Cotsa, be prepared for a biggish bill. They are quite expensive plus 15% service charge is added as well. Costa do not do All Inclusive however you can buy a wine package (5 bottles plus mineral water) I think, but you are restricted to just lunch times and evening meal as well. You will find details of this on Costa website. They also do a package called X1 which allows you unlimited beer and wine but again only at lunch time and evening meal and in the main restaurant. You will not find details of the X1 package on the website but if you phone Costa they will give you a price.
