Hi, I am planning a holiday to Mexico next year and want to go somewhere i bit different and not rowdy.
I have heard the Costa Maya area is beautiful, but also don't want to be completely isolated. (I basically want the best of both worlds!!)
Any ideas? There will be my husband and I and 2 children aged 16 and 12.
Thank you for any advice offered.
Playacar near Playa Del Carmen would suit you there are some nice hotels in this area and you are a short walk to town "Playa Del Carmen"
We like this area because it's not too rowdy unlike Cancun but a lot more laid back.
Riu and Iberostar have nice hotels here with good amenities and plenty for youngsters to keep them busy.
Any else you need to know just ask and I will try and help.
Cheers
Colin
