I have managed to get a possible shortlist of 2 for potential holidays for this coming summer I was hoping if I could ask for opinions of both places.
I intend to travel in June and I am 37 and will be taking by Mom who is 70 this year.
The accomodation I am looking at is :-
Barcelo El Galea
Sands Beach Resort

Self Catering I love Sands Beach and think its fabuous. Its further out of resort than Barcelo La Galea which is in the middle of the resort and location wise spot on. If you are eating in Barcelo would be better. I just love Sands Beach and the Beach front Bungalows are just fantastic.
barcelo probably better with your mum as sands is a fair walk to get to the main resort,however if you just want to stay around the complex it is a really nice one, barcelo la galea is right in the centre of resort with all the shops restaurants etc on the doorstep good entertainment and acsess straight onto the beach front from the hotel. hope this helps.
i have stayed at barcelo la galea(there are 2 barcelos in ct)its ideal as everyone says however dont expect a lie in the maids will make sure of that pressing buzzers at 8.30 in the morning
