Hi there if I was you I would go back to puerto del carmen as we visited costa teguise a few times on our stay and each time it was very windy, also there isnt much there
We like Costa Teguise as it is much quieter than PDC..but the weather was dreadful and it was very windy. How noisy/quiet do you want your holiday to be? PDC has a better nightlife and is much busier during the day..but CT is more relaxed and taxi's are cheap so you can go into Arreciffe for a look around if you want. The beach is better at PDC.
Costa Teguise is windier than PDC as it is less protected from the strong North-East trade winds that are prevalent in Lanzarote. We stayed in CT in April 2006 and were very pleased that our apartment balcony was south-west facing as it offered protection from the almost constant wind. Admittedly, the weather wasn't particularly great that week anyway but Costa Teguise is also much more low-key than PDC and was very quiet when we were there. We stayed in PDC last April and thought it a better choice for us as it felt like there was a bit more life to it without being buzzing and it was also less windy!
We are going to book to go to Lanzarote next week the 28th of February but don't know which resort to pick.Is there any difference in the weather and would Costa teguise be really quiet compared tp Puerto del carmen advice needed many thanks.
Steve
My opinion is that CT is much quieter than PDC..but that doesn't bother us as that is what we like. It depends what sort of holiday you are looking for. CT is also windy and the weather on the entire Island can be a little hit or miss in February but you should be ok.
