Hi Dagnabbit. It really depends on what kind of bars you're after... but I can recommend The Highlander, Lively Lady, Tiggers, and Smiggy's.
Head to Coffee & Cream for a really good cooked breakfast the next morning too!
Have a great time!
Hi Elle, We Are Staying At The Mansion Nazareth Hotel, Which I Believe Is Fairly Central So Should Be Close To All The Bars And Restaurants, And Not Too Far To Stagger Back In The Evening, Tel.
restaurants, el patio- spanish/steak,tex mex next to it,pardella for fish or pescador and casa blanca for grilled meats/fish and spanish/canarian food, all of these are next to you!
have a good time.
Hi Marysol, Many Thanks For That, I Am Glad We Are So Close To Everything, Not Too Far To Walk Back Especially After Jugs Of Beer For 5 Euros Hic !!. Cheers Tel.
We have stayed at Manasion Nazeret was really good location and when you arrive there is a bottle of wine and you get bread rolls left outside your door everyday. We went in May and it did get a bit cold at night for me. The lighthouse bar was brill had those garden patio heaters to keep me warm. Brekkies there were brill too. Would also recommend the Cutty Sark and Splash.
We stayed in Nov 2006,in Oceano Studios, we spent most of our time eating in Eriks restaurant just a few mins walk from the apartments,it served a great breakfast with 5 choices ranging from toast & scrambled egg, to the full breakfast, really reasonably priced too. The lunch and dinners were fantastic as well, typical english food if thats what your after. Their steak is out of this world, as is the rest of their food def worth a visit.
Hi All Just Back, Great Holiday But A Lot Of Cloudy Days, But Did'nt Let That Spoil It, Thanks For All The Info On Eating And Drinking Out, We Tried Quite A Few Of Those Recommended, And Always Ended Up At Chispas (Definetly Recommended) After Eating, Also Recommend British Cafe For Breakfast, Dona Lola For Pasta And Casa Blanca For Meat And Fish, Our Only Downside Was On Our Last Night At El Patio, We Got There At 7.30 pm, Got Our Drinks At 7.35 And Then They Take Your Meal Order In Turn, At 8.15 After Noticing Several Other Tables Including Several Large Parties That Had Arrived After Us Had Ordered Their Food I Asked If I Could Order, The Drinks Waitress Arrived Again, I Said Food She Said No I Serve Drinks Only, We Are Busy You Have To Wait Your Turn For Food, I Explained Our Turn Had Passed And We Had Been There For 45 Mins, 15 Mins Later I Asked To Pay For My Drinks As We Had Had Enough Of Waiting, This Took A Further 10 Mins When We Were Then Presented With The Food Waitress To Take Our Order, I Said No I Want To Pay And Go, She Wandered Off And Started To Serve Other Tables, I Thought Sod This And We Left, We Got No Apology Whatsoever, I Wont Go There Again In A Hurry
for future ref try casa blanca and el mastil next to peurto tehiche apts,
Hi Marysol, We Tried Casa Blanca And It Was Lovely As For El Mastil Is That The One Opposite The Lighthouse, We Were Going To Go There On Our Last Night But Unfortunately Went To El Patio Instead And By The Time We Walked Out Of There El Mastil Was Really Busy, Another Thing Is The Mexican Place Behind Chispas Is Part Of El Patio And We Went There On Our First Night, The Service There Was Also Awful They Were Running Round Like Headless Chickens, But When We Eventually Got Our Food It Was Very Nice, We Spoke To Several People Who Said They Had Awful Service At Both As Well, They Need To Sort Out There Staff Problems, All In All We Enjoyed Our Holiday And Did'nt Really Have A Bad Meal Anywhere, But Spent Most Evenings At Chispas I Mean A pint Of Lager And Bacardi And Coke For 3 Euros And 10 Cents Was Unbeatable, No Wonder It's So Busy And Tables Don't Stay Empty For Long, Made A Lot Of New Friends In Costa Teguise And Will Go Back Again One Day. Cheers Tel.
Im going this month to CT and i would like to know if there any night clubs. And also do you think it will be busy jan 31-feb 6. Never been before !
costa teguise is normally quite at that time of year but then again so is the whole island, there are a couple of nightclubs, saxos and baobab upstairs next to paradise bar and mahatmacote indian restaurant and another one across the road next to the teguise player hotel but cant remember it's name! but you can go into most of the big hotels for a drink and they all have live acts on and music too. if it's too quite you could get a taxi to peurto del carmen ( (about 20 eruos) there are loads of late bars and nightclubs there, costa is really more of a couples and family resort, hope this doesnt put you off tho cos it is lovely!
I have to say, if you like 'Blackpool in the sun' then Costa Teguise is the place to go. We went there in Sept 2007, and it was the worst holiday we have ever had, the place is dirty, it smells, noisy and is just so purpose built that it really is very shabby and third class. My advice book a villa anywhere but CT as you will never get any sleep or rest, if you are into bars, karaoke, drunken youths, discos & chips with everything this is the place for you.
You must have been in a different Costa Teguise from us in september. A holiday is what you make it.
If you go looking for fault you will find it. We visited lots of places on the island and sampled a lot of the bars and resteraunts in C.T, the ones we found unsuitable we left and went to another as there is plenty of variety. We stayed at the Peurto Tahiche which is not 5 star by any means but it was a very enjoyable holiday.

Hi guys..where's this Chispas? I'm in the Fortuna Siroco apts..going on 17th
I considered it to be a totally relaxed and quiet holiday resort, I would recommend it to anyone who fancies a quiet sunny holiday, it was lovely to walk in the evening in the warmth without worrying about there being gangs of yobs spoiling their night out.
I went for the first time last year and i'm returning this year due to having such a lovely Holiday, I cant wait

chispas is in the main square Pueblo Marinero you wont hve any problems finding it but if you do its right nextdoor to el patio which is a really nice restaraunt in my opinion,oh and its oposite captain hooks really friendly and really good cocktails,so you could ask some one in the resort they'll be able to help you in the right direction,i think your only a ten minute walk away though
Dont think you'll get much cheaper than chispas for cocktails really cheap and always really busy we struggled getting a seat most nights as we tried to call for a quick one
Hope this helps
Andy
P.s Its not atall like blackpool i didn't see 1 donkey in 2 weeks
thanks for the info..never been before so I reckon I'll head for the main square
I didn't disrespect his opinion, I just pointed out that the way he described CT was IN FACT completely different what it is renowned for.
If it came across as being disrespectful, it was just through trying to understand the pure absurdity of his review.
I apologise if I caused any offence.
No problem Emma. You'd be amazed how these topics sometimes turn into full-blown war!
