Hi Pat, they are part of

http://www.beninter.es/indexengjs.htm

Who as far as I'm aware are a well established company. You shouldn't have any worries booking with them.

Their apartments seem very reasonable but the hotel prices are extortionate. I've just looked up their prices for May/June when we go and they were asking nerarly £4,000 for a fortnight for a family of 4 in the Brisa hotel on the front and £2,800 for the Presidente. We have booked with Wintersunshine holidays to stay in the Pelicanos/Ocas for just over £800, a massive difference.

Sorry  The prices were in euros not stirling but still very expensive.

I have already put in my post that we booked with http://www.wintersunshineholidays.co.uk

I have booked with them before without any problem and they now give us an 8% loyalty discount too.

i have decided not to book with costa blanca holidays for the following reasons.

1, all their rooms have no safe deposit boxes
2. if your flight is later on in the day you have to vacate by 10 and there is no suitable places to leave your cases

I have just emailed them to ask about the safety deposit box and keeping the room on.The private rent apt i was booking had this and also said i could stay on in the apt until we were being picked up,so fingers crossed. Will have to rethink about booking if not.

Hi Pat, have you tried http://www.sun4udirect.com

They have the playamar apartments for £717.00 from 7th August for a fortnight reduced from £932.00 but they are only one bedroomed, do you need 2? I haven't seen many reviews about these apartments but our friends stayed there and said they were fine, they have a pool and a bar too.

Thanks for your help Sue,but we really need a 2 bed.I have just received an email back from the above company and they say there is no safety deposit box but i can keep the apt on until 7:30PM.To be honest we never use the safe last year as we didn't take any valuables and we dont carry cash, just our switch cards.

Hi Pat

Just a thought but when me and my friend went DIY a few years ago we had a very late flight back and just booked the apartment for an extra night to have peace of mind that we still had our room past 10am. I suppose it all depends how much extra this will cost.

I have booked with Beninter before and found them to be really good.

Hi Michelle,i usually do pay the extra,we did that in September on our return.I have decided to book with them as they promise me that if i cannot keep the room on there will be somewhere to store our cases.I tried Beninter but they dont do Gemelos XXII.The total cost including transfers and end clean comes to £1072,so i am going to book it asi think this is a great price for August :D
