I can't answer your question, but the best thing to do is contact the owner of where you're staying, if it's a DIY holiday, or the tour operator if it's a package. I doubt you can actually hire one though. I tried in Borovets with no success.

If you are travelling with Balkan Holidays, they specifically mention cot hire on their website:

Cot hire & Baby supplies
Cots can be hired from hotels reception from approximately £2.00 per day, subject to availability. We strongly recommend that parents take supply of baby food, powdered milk and nappies with them as it is sometimes difficult to obtain these locally.

A google search for 'cot hire sunny beach' also brings up 15,000 hits.

£2 a day for a fortnight seems a bit steep. We bought a travel cot for less than that in Sunny Beach last year.

If you have any contacts in any of the main resorts that would be a cheaper alternative.

Hire of anything in the resorts tends to be (relatively) expensive - e.g. it's much cheaper to buy a pedestal fan in Bulgaria, if your accommodation is not fully air conditioned, than to hire one from a resort hotel for a week or two.

The cot came from a shop in Nessebar, not the old town, exact name escapes me now, but if I can get it from my usual driver /neighbour in Sunny Beach I'll pass it on. Might be a week or 2 till I get a hold of him.

Spoke to my mate from Sunny Beach today. He is back in England for a few weeks.

He got our travel cot in Nessebar, but cant remember the name of the shop. But he says there is a new shop selling all

sorts of kids stuff in S.B. on the main road. Somebody on here should be able to pin it down.

If not I'll ask him again next week when he is back in Bulgaria, for an exact location.

Its worth buying the thing if you or your family or friends have an apartment .
