Shop at the Forum shops then have lunch at Pancho's backyard, a nice place with lots of leafy courtyards, Mariachi band playing and good food. Prices are good too.
We enjoyed Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville restaurant/bar- you can sit on one of the decks that lead down to the ocean and watch the waves crashing against the piers.... great place.

How far is margaritaville from Allegro Cozumel/Holiday village white sands if you know?!

I would say less than 10 mins by taxi- there is just one road along the coast, you are out past Chankanaab Park and Margaritaville is on the way into downtown for you. San Miguel is the only town.
Taxis are plentiful and you can get anywhere for between $6 and $10 - ask the price before you get in, some fares are fixed rate.

when are you going to cozumel as we go with first choice on sat 13th sept ? might see you on the plane if not will tell u about the trips we do on our return
