greek kitty wrote:OH LORDY! where do you buy those from? they were made for me and my bunion covered abused little trotters...i dont even think about comfort when shoe buying, even if i can't walk in them i can still look at them whilst they are on show, perched on an arty, jaunty angle on my bedroom shelf..they are beautiful :tup
Omg...cant believe there is someone else out there like me...The number of shoes I have bought just because they look nice ...Look nice on my shoe rack ..I just love shoes...but crocs are a big no no for me ..they remind me of gardening clogs
They were in the kids section, but I saw a pair of crocs today in Brantano with fur lining . It didnt do much to improve the look, but will keep the feet a bit warmer I would imagine.
Crocs have arrived at Costco today!! (where I work) their flying off the shelves already
I have seen croc boots in stead and simpson shoe shop!!!
they are selling them in Primark, out go the trainers on my holidays and in with the crocs they are soooo comfortable
Well, I am a big fan of crocs, holidays only though. I woudn't wear them out and about at home, but for travelling and holidays, they are fab. I'm travelling to Australia this weekend, in a pair of lilac ones, with flowers painted all over them, hihihih. Theyre comfy though, that's the main thing for travelling.
Youngest daughter bought me the flip flop type when she was in America last year
Arn't they just shoe wellies? For doing the gardening etc?
i thought they might be ok for the beach
I have a pair of 'mock' crocs and a pair of 'original' crocs and although the originals were much more expensive they are of far better quality and more substantial than the 'mocks'.
If you can buy online have a shop around for a US shop that will post to the UK you'll find the originals much cheaper. My son is preparing for his summer camping trips with his Scouts (he's a leader) and has asked for a pair of the 'off road' crocs as they are tougher and sturdier than the beach version and ideal for slopping round muddy fields in (hopefully) warm weather and they'll dry out quicker than canvas or hiking shoes. For example a pair on ebay costs £28 plus postage bringing the cost to close to £33 whereas bought from an online retailer in the US he can choose his colour and the cost inlcuding postage is £27!
For comfort you can't beat 'em
I am still wearing mine and have worn the black pair all winter as long as it was dry.
Will still be wearing them in 2008.
