yep and we just got back yesterday too from Paphos

Yes she is back. She visited the holidaychat site today.

And she spent time with the police.

I'm not telling you why, you will have to ask her.

Its not as bad as It sounds, honestly...........

My hubby hired a Scooter for the week (£35)........... It was great.......... especially as my Inlaws were with us.......... we went off quite a bit.......... even had a full day togethor........... we went to Ayia Napa, and Green Bay.......... stunning.........
Anyway, hubby took It back after the week was up......... they started saying In the shop that we had crashed the Scooter (there were scratches on It...... but they were there when hubby hired It!!
....... they wanted £120 off him (this was our last full day before we went home by the way)......... to cut a long story short.......... we had to go to the Police Station In Paralimni.......... told them what had happened.......... straight away they said that he was not allowed to keep our Passport.......... It was Government property

We eventually got our Passport back around 12.30pm......... but by this time It was too late to take our kids to Ayia Napa Waterpark........... they were gutted........ so they spoilt our last day..........

Thats sad,boycott the hire people

Name and shame is a good ideal,i have never experienced someone trying to rip me off in Cyprus.
Maybe others will think twice!

Hi Cromwell - welcome back - I havn't checked the hotel reviews yet but hopefully you willput one on - I hope The Andreotis was everything that is was last year. Catch you later.

Footfighter........... I think have left you some drink so dont worry ........... we were paying £1.50 per pint of Carlsberg both In the Andreotis, and as a rule, on the "strip" aswell.
Cocktails are around £2.00 each.........
The Food was nice......... but as you can eat out for the same price, we opted for that........
The Andreotis Apts are perfect........... great location.......... staff wonderful and friendly.......... Tassos will ask you your name once and will remember It for the rest of your Holiday.......... amazing!
Just mention the family of 10 from Leeds.......... Including Mr T, Louisa, Ruth......... I bet he remembers us............... we were In the Pool at 2.00am one morning after a few drinks!!!

Infact my hubby liked the Spectrum Bar for his pints............ It kept Its head on the pint longer than any other Bar that we went to........
