Thanks Maverick, Is Hisaronu far from Olu? Within walking distance?

You couldn't walk safely to Hisaronu from Olu. It's a really steep road with no pavements and a poor surface. Much better to catch the dolmus or get a taxi.

Is Hisaronu a bigger shopping place than Olu is? I mean would we be better off getting a taxi straight to there from Lykia World? Or is it just a short dolmus ride to Hisaronu from Olu?

Hisaronu has lots more shops and also has a market - I think on a Monday. It depends what you're looking for. The only thing I go to Hisaronu for is the pharmacy as there isn't one in Olu. There are several shops in Olu selling clothes, gifts and so on as well as food shops.
There are also shops in Lykia World. They tend to be more expensive but depending on what you are buying, you may be cheaper buying at the Lykia World shops than paying for a taxi on top.
We normally go to the big market on a Tuesday in Fethiye and do any shopping for our whole holiday there. Its a nice town with a harbour and some very nice shops. You could take a taxi there and back, do the market and have lunch. The Lykia World taxi will arrange a meeting place and come back for you.
