Hi Folks,
We (2 adults) are looking to stay at these apartments for a week w/c 02/10/06.
I was wondering if there is anywhere nearby to park the rental car?
We have been on other holidays where parking has been a problem, ie: pay to park or park miles away.
Also, anybody stayed at these apartments recently? any views / tips. (I've read the reviews)
Cheers.
regards
OOOPS!! I meant Cye Marina Apartments
EDIT: Merged with existing 2 page thread which may provide you with some useful info, while you wait for further feedback.

hi i was wondering if anyone could tell me a bit about these apartments as i am goin for my holidays on the 7 october with my two kids (they don't know they are going it is a surprise). This is our first family holiday so i just wanted some info.
There is some information in earlier posts and you can read our reviews via Hotel Reviews at the top of the page.

thanks in advance
I am thinking about doing a cheap deal during October holidays at Cye apartments. What will they be like in October? Am going to La Pineda on 26th June for 2 weeks but can't really afford hotel in October.
The cye itself is very nice and clean, looks old from the outside but the rooms are spacious and modern with flat screen tv's and microwave and hob facilities - you may want to hire a toaster and kettle from reception though (we take a travel kettle)
I was told that normally it is quite lively right until the end but due to finances people chose to close earlier last year, The weather is still hot (not scorching though and a bit cooler in the evenings) and it is possible to swim in the sea/pool but not for too long though as it gets cold.
Port Aventura is good too as it has the halloween theme on this time of year and the buses/trenet sevices are still fully operational including buses to the markets/nou camp/barcelona etc..
We tend to go in the summer for relaxing and taking in the sun and again in october for the excursions, port aventura etc.. as the queue's are shorter,
Hope this helps
Hi, has anyone been here recently ??? just wondered if a deposit is required upon check in when travelling with thomascook ??
laura we had a 10 quid waver fee in our total price that didnt need us to pay deposit, check your invoice or with agent, if not i think it is 80 euro
ps...take a torch with you....as sometimes power cuts....and need it to go through building ...stairs ect
Thanks guys, spoke to thomas cook and it looks as though there is a 60euro deposit to pay at check in. so looking forward to the break , can anyone recommend some nice places to eat that not too pricey ?? we usually go to benidorm so 1st time for us in salou,
hi... chinese buffet bars usually very good....mcdonalds...burger king...and my favorite was the spit roast chickens....buy some salad and nice bread...gorgous...they sell them from outside a resturant by the big tobaconists....tweetie
the brown cow, lazy wave, chippies, little hampton, all do lovely food at reasonable prices also, other establishments are probably on a par too, we have gone with what was close to us at the time, look out for the daily specials especially at the brown cow, they do a rack of ribs you can climb up then parachute off, fantastic they are
