Jo,

I think your best bet would be to narrow your search as to resort as that will make life easier......April's quite early to go to Cyprus as most places don't open up in the east of the island until mid-late April. I believe Paphos starts a little earlier and therefore might be your best bet.

Once you've decided on your resort then check the hotel reviews sections at the top of the page as that will give you an idea of the ratings and also it usually states how many rooms/apartments they have. You'll find most properties accept direct bookings and usually give the best deal (bu not always)

Good luck

For Limassol, I can highly recommend the apartments my parents usually stay at - Santa Barbara apartments, situated just 5 minutes walk from the seafront, they have a large communal pool and a small restaurant/bar (depending on season and weather in early & late season). There is a new supermarket opened this year just before you reach the seafront and also a very nice Sigma bakery (24hrs) on the corner.

We usually book their accommodation through Michael Constantinou and my parents usually take a 2 bedroomed apartment, which overlooks the pool (block 10).

Bars and restaurants are all within a short walk but the complex itself is set back from the main road so is nice and quiet of an evening. Nearby is the K Cineplex and ten pin bowling alley.

They've stayed there for the last 4 winters for 4wks at a time (they come to visit us as we now live in Cyprus) and this year are staying in a hotel for a change (more because of our water problems this summer)... The apartments Michael runs all have oven and washing machine and are originally residential apartments.

Hope adding the link is okay?

Hi there

Just returned from the Capital Coast Resorrt & Spa :)

Would recomend this self catering resort to anyone... :)
The accomodation is amazing, absolute luxury!! on the outskirts of Paphos near The King of the Tombs and Coral Bay, not to near to all the hustle of Paphos Harbour.... but within easy walking distance of bars restruants. We booked BB and then chose to make our own food or go out whatever we felt like doing,,, The appartments were a home from home everything you could need Flat sceen tv lots of UK channels, Living Area, Dinning Area, Fully equiped kitchen, bedroom, on suite, + separate showeroom,
The pool & poolside bar excellent, very clean & friendly,,, not to mention the rooftop bar with stunning views.........Will definetly return soon !! :)
