Dress code for dinner at the Ascos is smart casual - gentlemen are requested to wear long trousers for dinner and no shorts are allowed in the dining room.
This time of year it's going to be quite cold in the evenings so you'd probably be advised to take a jumper or cardigan or maybe even a jacket if you'd feel more comfortable, although it's not required.
Might be useful to pack a tie for the new year gala dinner but again not compulsory.
If in doubt you can always call them on 0035726621801 or e-mail the manager at ascos@tsokkos.com.
Wish Andreas and Nana a merry Christmas from me......

Wish I was there!!

Well shorts would be out of the question at the moment at night...too cold!! so really what you would wear back home, the Ascos is not that posh you would need any formal clothes..beach wear in winter would not come into the equation..

I mirror both of the above, although the daytime can be great, it can turn cool in the evenings and with a reasonable chance of rain as well. The Ascos is as formal as you want but certainly not shorts and scruffy, a tie is always a good accessory for any mans travel kit!

Hi
Christmas and new year really is changeable - 2 years ago I was wearing t shirts during the day - it's gets cold when the sun goes down; but last year it was a great deal colder and coats were need all the time - they had a short snow flurry on boxing day last year - but the year before I sat outside and had coffee and cake.
Sorry that won't help a lot - it's generally warmer than here; nice during the day but you'll need something warmer for the evenings.
