I couldn't get any digital signal on mine. I'd be interested to know how you get on with yours.

Perhaps not the same but I have been listening in to Radio sunshine on my MP3 and get perfect reception. About 93.5 I think.

As far as packing is concerned it doen't make any difference (take out batteries) but we've never managed to get anything on digi radio in Spain, we take a cheap little portable and listen to the local english programmes.

Your best off taking a radio which broadcasts on FM coverage of radio on DAB is very limited virtually nil indeed certainly amongst the UK ex-pat radio stations very little broadcasting on DAB all radio stations in Spain have invested very little in DAB.

This will change in the coming years as radio licences have to be renewed every 10 years operators will have to commit to DAB radio as well.

You can take it in hand luggage or hold luggage, but any fragile or valuable items would be best in hand luggage, as long as you comply with airport or airline restrictions on weight and dimensions. More info and discussion on hand luggage or hold luggage can be found in Airlines & Airports forum.
