This is a really beautifull part of Greece. We stayed in Agios Ioannis which is the largest village on this coast. Damouchari waterfront is shown in the film Mamma Mia, its a very small resort. Car hire is essential to see this region and the restored narrow gauge railway trip gives some spectacular views of the area. Very few Brits visiting this region which is quite rugged and mountainous in parts, there is even a small ski resort which hopefully will be closed in Sept!! Some great beaches on both coasts.
